Lynnette Smith is a glass artist who works from her studio in Wellington, New Zealand. She has a strong sense of design and colour.

Lynnette developed her own art form in glass blending her keen observation of nature with a technique that is uniquely hers. She creates glass jewellery, functional mirrors, decorative panels and sculptures. Her various techniques stretch the boundaries that glass imposes.

She is well-known for her glass exhibitions and winner of Leadlight Products New Zealand Glass competition two years running. She is a respected glass art instructor.

Some works shown here are a collaboration between Wellington artists Lynnette Smith and Mary Mitchell; combining their individual skills to produce original and outstanding glass panels and mirrors.
